In the fall and winter, enjoy our fire pit outdoors and our wood burning and gas fireplaces inside. In the summer, enjoy our resort-style pool, spa, bikes, gardens, grill, pool volleyball, ping pong table & camp fire! *pool and hot tub open Memorial Day through October1* Our home is the largest in the neighborhood! You'll enjoy nearly 5000 sq ft to spread out and relax! Every member of your party can have their own floor to enjoy with the finished attic serving as another bedroom and game room. Kids can watch TV upstairs while adults use the main living room, or tuck away in the master suite with power reclining theater seats and big screen. The pool and pool house are open for lots of outdoor fun, with lots of activities like inflatables, pool volleyball, ping pong, water basketball, and you’re welcome to use our bikes and enjoy our sidewalks galore in our neighborhood! NOTE ABOUT NOISE We live in a quiet single-family neighborhood, and our neighbors mean a lot to us! We will not be able to continue to share our home if our guests do not respect the neighborhood. To ensure our house does not become problematic, both the indoors and outdoors of our home are monitored by NoiseAware, a sensor that alerts us by an app on our phones if loud music is blaring from our home. Outdoor music is not allowed by the pool at any time as it's too hard to control and can become a nuisance to our neighbors using their pools next door. The sensors do not record or capture images, but rather alert us if noise reaches a certain decibel threshold. ***If you’re looking for a party house, this is not the place.*** We will terminate your stay and hold your security deposit after just one NoiseAware notification! Please note NoiseAware does not pick up on babies crying or kids laughing or normal family conversations and good times. It is simply a preventative measure to avoid past situations where disrespectful guests party and treat our home like a hotel. SECURITY CAMERAS We do not have security cameras indoors, but outdoors we use Nest security cameras to monitor the front doors, street and pool to keep everyone safe. STAIRS There are three sets of stairs that must be climbed as it's a three-story home. FAMILY AMENITIES We are family-friendly! There are games, puzzles, toys for children, dinnerware for kids, baby gates, rounded coffee tables and side tables, electrical outlet covers, pack 'n play. There is an Xbox Series X and an Xbox One with a lot of one-person games predownloaded. We have two controllers, so if you want to login to your own games, then you will want to bring more controllers. Poolside we have plenty of floaties, inflatables, pool games, sunscreen, bug repellant, supplies for s'mores and more! EVENTS We do not host events, but please inquire about bridal suites and bridal parties and photo sessions. We offer services for an additional fee that can make your time together picture-perfect. PETS We love furry friends, but we do have strict rules. Only up to two dogs are allowed, some breeds and number of dogs may be restricted, and owners must pay our fee and abide by house rules. POOL + SPA Please see our other notes. You'll have access to all rooms with the exception of some closets, our office, and the basement that will be locked. Norfolk is a quaint New England small town. There's a Walgreens and sweet little coffee shop and bakery just 5 minutes away. If you need Starbucks or a large grocery store, you're just 10 minutes away in adjacent towns. Our neighborhood is tree lined with sidewalks galore! Bring your bikes! There are also hiking and bike trails and a fishing pond minutes away. Our house is 5 minutes away from Norfolk's commuter rail station, which will take you straight into Downtown Boston (parking on site), and we're also just 10 minutes from Gillette Stadium. You'll want a car to get around. Pool is kept at 78 degrees, but may get colder than that as evening temps can make water cold. This is a pool in New England and is always subject to change based on rain and cold temps at night. We only run the heat if the water gets below 78 degrees as it is heated with propane and costs us extra money. **If you'd like the pool heated during your stay above 78 degrees, then there is an additional $450 fee to cover the surcharge for propane.** The pool is surrounded by tons of trees so we cannot guarantee it will be leaf-free during your entire stay. While our pool is serviced by a professional service provider weekly and will be cleaned before your stay, you may find a small amount of tree debris. We have a pool skimmer on site for your use. The spa is connected to the pool, but is separately controlled by you. We have a detailed list of instructions for you upon check-in and are available at all times to answer all of your questions.
