The White Moose

Serene 4 season lodging. The White Moose is located between the Ausable River and Jay Mountain, 5 miles from Whiteface Mtn, High Peaks and 20 minutes from Lake Placid. Big stone fireplace in the living room, TV, Wireless internet is available throughout the Cabin and surrounding. The first floor consists of a full bath with shower and tub as well as two bedrooms, including queen size beds. The second floor has two bedrooms, queen size beds, half bath, fireplace and great mountain and sky views. Screen porch provides great relaxation while enjoying the mountain views, listen to the whisper of the tree leaves and the songs of the birds. BBQ in the backyard, and the chairs around the fire pit are perfect place to enjoy the clear Adirondack sky. The cabin is pet friendly; no smoking. The White Moose also has a game room equipped with darts, ping pong table, air hokey table, foosball, and many brain games. World-class skiing slopes at Whiteface Mountain are only five miles away. The Olympic village of Lake Placid is about twenty-minute ride. High Peaks hiking trails are less than a half hour from the cabin. The White Moose cabin is located on the AuSable River – perfect location for trout fishing. Fly fishing shop within 10 minutes drive; Local farm with home made yogurt, steaks, eggs and milk helps to get full Adirondack experience.
