Thanks for checking out The Corn Crib! Located between Milwaukee and Madison but yet in lake country. Surrounded by farm fields, glacial drumlins and Wildlife Reserve land, the location is quiet but easily accessible. Most activities are 5 to 25 minutes away. Madison and Milwaukee are equally about 45 minutes away. Fun fact: Corn cribs were simply built as a granery to dry and store corn. They were first used by Native Americans, but European settlers quickly adopted the technique. Close to biking/hiking trails (Glacial Drumlin Trail), rivers and lakes. If you're looking for a mostly off-grid and rustic glamping experience, this is it. ***Please read entire description before booking*** The old corn crib sits on the family farm and has been fully converted and remodeled into a tiny cabin. Everything inside is hand built. Water is piped over from the barn roof-filtered rain water system and running water is only available in the bathroom sink. Provided: -Drinking water -Glasses -Plates -Mini Fridge -Microwave -Toaster oven -Electric kettle -French Press -Manual grinder and coffee beans Great for those looking to get in some nature, stars and fresh air.
