Wake to the sound of birds from your cozy room overlooking Old English gardens. Morning greets you with the smell of fresh brewed Coffee, selection of Teas and fresh baked goods, Fruit, Yogurt...but save your appetite for our incredible hearty Breakfast served hot'n fresh in our Dining Room. All food sensitivities respected. Our indoor/outdoor cat Simon may greet you but does not have access to Guest Rooms. Guests are encouraged to explore this charming home...watch the Game with a Beer in our Pub or enjoy a glass of Wine infront of the Fire in our graciously appointed Living Room (byob). Guest minimum age is 15yrs. We offer maps, brochures & menues for local attractions & restaurants. Our Outdoor Hot Tub is open year-round. There are no kitchen facilities for Guests but there is a fridge in your room and access to a microwave to prepare snacks. We are always home to greet Guests, then give you space to enjoy your B&B experience. We give you a key to your room and a key to the house so you can come'n go as you please. We have our own private space in the home. It is not uncommon for us to join you for a cocktail in the evening and share stories. We will happily tell-you-where-to-go...if you need advice on how to make the most of your time away. Guest minimum age is 15yrs. Quaint Town of Stayner, population 4500, has many fine Shops and Restaurants to please you. 8 Churchs, parks, walking/biking trails PLUS the famous Music In The Park every Thursday from May to September with live Music and many Vendor tents...including a Beer Tent featuring our local Creemore beer. We can lend you 2 bicycles to explore the town, but best seen on foot to appreciate the old homes and well tended gardens. Conveniently located at Airport Rd & Hwy 26, this is the perfect 'jumping off spot' for your visit to Wasaga Beach for sun'n fun or to watch the Sunset. Collingwood is a short drive, including the Scandinave Spa, Horseback Riding, Blue Mountain Village, Scenic Caves...too many excellent Restaurants to mention. Menues available. Have an active day, then return to the Gables B&B for a relaxing glass of Wine in our Outdoor Hot Tub to unwind...dosnt get any better!! We truly enjoy hosting Guests from all over the world.
