This spacious CUSTOM log cabin home built in 2004 sleeps up to 14 and is the perfect design and ambiance set in a beautiful mountain town landscaping. Enjoy nature in the mountains surrounding you by exploring the hiking trails on foot or by mountain bikes, racing down the ski slopes or fishing the nearby streams. If relaxing is more your style, there are several decks to take in the mountain views as you appreciate the unhurried pace and a peaceful environment, the perfect place to catch up on a good book. Warm up by the vast rock fireplace or immersed in the private hot tub all year long. The lower level family room is a great place to hang out, play games, watch a movie, or share favorite stories. Spread throughout the home in any of the three living areas or around the large island in the open kitchen. The gourmet kitchen also features new stainless steal appliances and granite countertops. Sixteen people sleep comfortably in this three level log cabin with four bedrooms: King, King, Queen/twin bunk, Double/Twin bunk and twin/twin bunks and 3.5 baths. It is more difficult to start but lasts much longer than less dense wood. You will be given some kindling and 1 Duraflame log per day to help start your fire. Ignite your kindling and Duraflame log in the fireplace and after a few minutes add one of the logs from the firewood rack stored outside on the middle deck. Place the narrow side of one log into the hottest portion of the fire. Add another log as needed throughout the day. If you need more kindling wood or easier burning firewood, you can get either at the Government Camp grocery store or the gas station. Sauna - Electrical and doesn't need water on the rocks. Left knob leave on max, Right knob turn to 3 and then back to the large 1. It will take about 20 minutes to heat up. We do not allow campers/RVs on our property or more people staying than what’s on the registration.
