Enjoy a complete, private upstairs guest suite in our quiet rural 1920's recently remodeled, Craftsman-style farmhouse. It's a private space with a separate key-coded entrance that is equipped with modern amenities and a comfortable design aesthetic. Our property includes the use of a relaxing outdoor patio area appointed with bistro lights perfect for a glass of wine around the wood fire. Social-distance friendly but yet within 30 minutes of many activities. This is a complete upstairs private suite of over 600 square feet. It has a separate entrance and stairway with a key-coded lock. It includes 3 rooms-a Master bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom, and kitchenette/living area. The ability to navigate the interior-located flight of stairs is required. Outdoor patio, farmhouse table, and seating, fire ring are available for your private use. We encourage guests with dogs to stay at our suite as there is ample room for our four-legged guests to run. We do add a $50 pet fee at the time of booking, please notify us if you are planning to bring a canine family member. We love dogs and are very dog friendly. We have our own fur baby-Bailey Joe-a 50 pound Plott Hound. She is very warm & friendly to all who meet her and has gotten along well with many dogs in the last year that we have owned her. Our guest suite is perfect for our guests to stay connected to work or school while enjoying a Driftless Area getaway. Cell service works for texts and short calls, we do recommend WiFi calling. WiFi works outside on patio area as well and our WiFi is the fastest fiber-optic service available in Richland county. Our internet speed is rated at “Fast” at 63 Mbps and is extremely reliable. Full access to a private 3 room guest suite with a private entrance. Access to the patio area. Access to the front porch in summer only. Parking space for one vehicle. We can be available to help with any questions as they arise, or we can be almost invisible, as you wish. We do live in the downstairs of the main farmhouse at the upper farm, however, our work takes us on the road regularly. Our family lives nearby so assistance is always available in urgent circumstances. We also have another property .5 miles away, we call the Lower farm. It has multiple guest units and we can also be found frequently there. Our location is nestled in the heart of the Wisconsin Driftless Area. You are greeted with a view of the rolling hills and narrow valleys from every window. You can take in the beautiful hardwood trees, plentiful wildlife, and rock formations surrounding you. The Farmhouse Guest Suite and the Ridge & Valley Hospitality cabin properties are across the road from the Willow Creek, one of the most respected trout streams in Wisconsin. We can guide you to access this trout stream. Ithaca, our small burg of 75 people, with one school, one church, and one bar is a mile away. The friendliest people anywhere and a great place to live. You will see cattle on the hills, barns in the valleys, and tractors on the roads. Truly, quaint rural life. We are 10 Minutes to Richland Center and the Pine River Bike Trail, 30 minutes to Reedsburg, 45 minutes to Wisconsin Dells, Devil's Lake State Park, and Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesen in Spring Green, and 1 hour 15 minutes to Madison. Located on State Highway 58, easily navigated with roads kept clear in the wintertime. Light traffic noise is heard when you are outside but quiet when inside the guest suite. You are surrounded by active agricultural land & fields. There are trails for walking your dog on. Wildlife surrounds you and bird-watching is a true delight. Use of your own transportation is required as there is no access to public transportation. GPS will work in most circumstances but access to a printed road map is encouraged. This is a rural location on a well-maintained state highway. You are staying on a family farm. There are 2 houses within your view that are occupied by our family. They are very quiet and non-intrusive. Marty's sister, Annette provides housekeeping and is available almost all of the time to our guests should any concern arise. She partners with us to give you an incredible experience while giving you complete privacy. We live downstairs and are home most of the time but we do travel regularly. Marty is the Tourism Director of Richland County and Teri is a flight attendant with Southwest Airlines. We are very aware of what travelers are wanting and love the art of hospitality! Marty can provide you with great ideas for enjoying Richland County and surrounding areas. You can watch over 100 videos on Richland Center Tourism's YouTube channel. We have recently expanded the scope of Ridge and Valley Hospitality to include a new property .5 miles down the road where we have 2 other rental units. We intend to grow our hospitality and tour offerings in 2022, providing all of our guests with unique experiences, tours, snowshoe & bike rentals, and other add-on amenities. We own Ridge & Valley Tours, where you can book a UTV guided tour experience to dairy farms, cheese factories, wineries, and apple orchards. All tours are custom at this time and require arrangements in advance. ridg (Website hidden by Airbnb) In the wintertime, we have pairs of snowshoes available for guest use. We can provide guided trail or self-guided trail experiences in Richland County. In the summertime, we have 2 bikes (female/male) available for use when prearranged in advance. The 6 person sauna on our new property will be available after the first of the year and will be open to all of our guests with access key codes. We are very dog friendly, when requesting a stay please share with us some information about your pups, such as breed, size, and other notable information. We will add a pet cleaning fee of $50 for any pets. No more than 2 pets are allowed. Our new property will have an outdoor dog-washing station in the spring of 2022.
