Guest Cottage in Rowayton

Guests are welcomed as if they are family or friends and accommodations are personalized with thoughtfulness and care. Our space is uniquely curated and our top priority for guests is a comfortable, joyful stay. The Farmhouse has a privacy deck for dining and leisure, plus an outdoor shower from spring until fall. Our policy is to respect your privacy and to be present only if needed. Guests treat our home and possessions with care and respect and we are always available on site or by phone or text. No smoking, please. Our neighborhood is part of a charming New England beach town. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The Saugatuck River is right across the street and we often suggest a morning stroll up the river with an expansive view of Long Island Sound. Entrance to Bayley Beach can be arranged by the host upon request, and maps and directions to nearby sights and adventures are available. Guests enjoy summer concerts at the beach and Shakespeare on the Sound in June. Our home is located in the picturesque village of Rowayton where there are a number of restaurants and our favorite ice cream shop, the Rowayton Market, Art Gallery, wine shop, hardware store and the Farmer's Market, May-October. There is ample parking on our property and it is a 15- minute walk to the Metro North train station. We are 40 minutes south of New Haven and 45 minutes into New York City. Linens and amenities are provided and guests are welcome to arrange with host for occasional use of laundry facilities. In addition to daily rate and cleaning fee, for an additional $55 per week, the host will arrange for full cleaning and change of all linens and replenishing of amenities once a week.
