A beautiful historic home on the North Channel of Lake Huron is a wonderful getaway on an acre of land in a small water community. With 4 bedrooms, 1 bath, great kitchen, formal dining room and fireplace in living room. Inground Pool summer months. Great, comfy beds! And additional attic space as a 5th bedroom--which kids love! Our home has original art, an organic yard, and lots of wildlife including, red fox, red squirrel, mice, snakes, chipmunks, deer and black bear. All are welcome. This home is amazing on an acre of land in town. A truly creative space with lots of room for privacy. The historic details makes this home unique with beautiful hardwood, original fixtures, indoor fireplace, and a claw foot tub. Master bedroom has the most comfortable bed in the world!!!! Guests may use all kitchen supplies, sheets, towels and washer and dryer. As often as needed. This is a retreat. We want our guests to be comfortable but give them privacy. We are in a downtown area but two blocks from Lake Huron. There is a grocery market, restaurants, library, bar, ice rink and shopping all near. The marina is within walking distance. There are wonderful beaches near that you can walk or drive to. You may walk to Everything or take a short drive. There is a Greyhound bus stop that stops a block away from our home.
