Cabin 6 is steps away from the Black Lake with out door QQB and fire pit, and best for a group of 2, or up to 3 people. The Black Lake Cabins is only 10 minutes away Gravenhurst and Bala, and 2 hours away from Toronto. We offer free boat rental at site for our guests. Enjoy your summer vacation at the Black Lake Cabins. Cabin 6 is best for group of 2. It can fit up to 3 ppl, but 1 guest needs to stay in the sofa bed in the living room, which will make the living room space very tight. All cabins have full kitchen (pots, plates etc), microwave and full size fridge and coffee maker (bring your own coffee). Bath towels, shampoo, linings are provided. Outdoor BBQ and fire pits are available (please follow Mukoka fire restriction), and we have a quiet policy after 11pm. We allow up to one pet per cabin, with an extra cleaning fee of $50 starting in 2021. Private beach in the property (need to share with other guests) Cabins are available for daily rental (minimum two nights) and weekly rental. No cancellation within 6 weeks prior to check in. The Blake Lake Cabins in only 15 to 20 minute drive from Gravenhurst and 5 minutes away from Bala. Grocery: If you are driving in from Toronto/Gravenhurst, you can pick up your grocery at Sobeys at Gravenhurst. You will see it right after you exist HWY 11. If you collect PC points, you can shop at the Independent at Gravenhurst. There is LCBO when you get off the HWY 11 (near Sobeys) and there is a LCBO in Bala Parks: The Hardy Provincial Park is only 5 minute away. It has a lovely 3km trail and a 8km trail that circle the lake. The Torrance Barrens Dark Sky Preserve is about 10 minutes drive away, and it’s the ultimate sky-watching place. Dark Sky Preserves are very unique and rare (only 6 in Ontario and 16 in Canada). On a “sunny” summer night, you will see the Milky Way. Make sure to bring some bug spray :) Cafe/restaurant/ concert hall Bala has a few cafes and restaurant. And you should definitely check out the Kee to Bala (book your ticket in advance!) No outside guests are allowed -- Due to the current COVID-19, please do not invite any guests to your cabins, and please limit the use of the cabins to the number of guests specified in your reservations.
