You can also drive about 20 minutes to the Tamolitch trailhead where you can then hike 1.8 miles to Tamolitch Falls a spot where the river bubbles up from the ground in a crystal clear blue pool. There are many other beautiful natural settings you can explore when you stay along the McKenzie River. The cabin is just 20 miles from Sahalie Falls and Koosah Falls - amazing waterfalls in Oregon's Cascade Mountains. Your jaw will drop at the beauty of the white water plunging from these waterfalls.
