The Main House is located a HALF BLOCK from Dayton's up and coming Historical Courthouse Square Park, where the new wine tasting rooms (Suefert Winery) and restaurants (Block House Café) are opening every month. This is a small, quaint town that feels like “Mayberry” right in the heart of Oregon Wine Country. Dayton is a great central location, just 35 miles from the Portland Airport, 55 miles to the nearest beach (Lincoln City), and 8 miles to McMinnville’s famous 3rd Street in McMinnville's Historic Downtown. We recently renovated this 3-bedroom, 2-bath, single-story home and tastefully decorated it with all new furnishings: including new beds, linens, dishes & electronics. This home is perfect for couples get-away weekend, girls weekend retreats and for family gatherings. Enjoy the beautiful view of the Willamette Valley off the front deck while sipping your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. For your outdoor dining, we have created a cozy, outdoor space with beautiful, tall, flowering plants that surround the patio dining area, complete with a small herb garden to add to your culinary expertise. There is a grill and plenty of patio furniture with an umbrella for your outdoor seating. The backyard is fully fenced and perfect for kids, pets, and families. Inside the house (fully remodeled) has an open floor plan spanning from the kitchen, dining area and into the living room. The living room has a picture window with the Willamette Valley view, a big screen Smart TV, fireplace, wine bar, and coat closet. The wood floors have area rugs and span across the dining area and into the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pan, dishes, serving trays, etc. We have tried to think of everything a kitchen needs for entertaining and holidays. The sturdy dining room table easily seats 6 to 8 people, and it also works great as a prep table while cooking. The three bedrooms are down the hall with new carpet and cozy bedding. The master bedroom has a private master bathroom with tile floors and tile tub surround. The main bathroom off the hallway​ has tile floors, tile tub surround and is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer. At any time of year, you’ll be comfortable here at The Main House. We have recently installed new, forced air heat and central air conditioning. The living room has a fireplace and there are over 300 cable channels for your viewing pleasure. Plus, you will also be able to load up your Netflix and Amazon accounts on our Smart TV. Also, if you're into boating, canoeing or kayaking - 3 blocks down the street there is the Yamhill River Boat Dock. During the summer the water is very calm, and you will feel at peace while on the water. There is plenty of parking in the front and back of the house for your extra recreational vehicles.
