Charming and rustic cabin on the Bitterroot River. Walk down and fly-fish off the bank. Float from town right to the property. Best duck hunting with natural blinds. Have your morning coffee in the hot tub looking out at the mountains and the Bitterroot Valley. BBQ on the deck and watch the sun go down every night. Lots of light and large windows to see the scenery. Only 20 miles to Missoula and Hamilton, Montana. (We love dogs, but please do not just bring your pet -- inquire first please.) This is a 2 bedroom (1 king, 1 queen) + 1 bath (tub & shower) with a sofa sleeper for two in the living room. Full Kitchen with gas stove, dishwasher, disposal, spice rack. Full laundry room with washer/dryer, Iron and board. The master bedroom/loft is upstairs. Deck wraps around the house from front door to back door. Absolutely gorgeous. We are happy to help you any way possible, but will mostly allow you your privacy. If you have an issue, we will get back to you asap! Some of the best fly-fishing in the world on the Bitterroot River. Many other places to fish nearby. Whitetail Golf Course is a 10 minute drive by the Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge, which is next to the house. There are numerous hikes including the Kootenai Creek Trail nearby. Visit the Blacksmith Brewery, Creamery Antiques Mall, and the Montana Chocolate Company -- all located in downtown Stevensville, Montana -- the first permanent settlement in Montana with a population of around 2000! A vehicle is necessary to get around although you can walk down to the river and fish off the bank. Please inquire if you'd like to stay long term.
