Hamburg Lakefront Getaway House (Ann Arbor Area)

This house is right on Hamburg Lake, a quiet, no-motor, self contained lake that’s great for kayaking, canoeing, fishing, paddle boarding or any other type of self-propelled boating because there’s no motors to knock you down. It’s a two story house with complete kitchen on each floor. The upper level has two bedrooms, two living areas, a deck, and a bath. The lower level has one bedroom, one bath, and a living room that walks right out to the lake. Full size laundry is on the lower level. The lake is very peaceful and relaxing. The house is two complete living spaces on each floor, so it’s great for extended families or couples visits. The house was completely remodeled in 2017 with high end finishes. The house has an eating deck with a gas grill on the second floor overlooking the lake. There is also a newly installed patio with a six-person table on the lake level. Kayaks, canoes, life vests and paddles are available. The owner is available by phone or text, and lives in the area. You will, however, let yourselves in and be on your own unless you need something. The quiet neighborhood is in a convenient location to several cities and towns. It is due north of Ann Arbor by ten miles north and two miles west of US-23. About eight miles away is Brighton, and it is three miles from Whitmore Lake. There are many all-sports lakes nearby, including 166 total in Livingston County. However, no motor craft of any kind are allowed on Hamburg Lake, where this house is located. It’s very quiet and no wake! Downtown Detroit is 50 miles away and all of the suburbs in between are easily accessible by US-23 only two miles away. You will need a vehicle to get around. There is no public transportation nearby. The house has a small, 6’ fenced in yard with pet door access. A deposit is required for pets traveling with you.
