Rustic "Deer" cabin near waterfall trail and lake
This small, quaint cabin brings you back to the basics. Not fancy or pretentious, but far more comfy than camping on a cold ground. You'll have what you need, a warm bed, private full bathroom, small fridge, microwave, use of gas grill, campfire pit and all amenities of the sporting camp Pine Grove Lodge. While here, get outdoors and look for moose and other wildlife, hike to Houston Brook Falls (1/4 mile,) canoe/kayak or use the beach at beautiful Wyman Lake (1 mile,) and relax by your own campfire or visit the communal fire to get to know other guests. Maine Guides are available with services like fishing, fly fishing lessons, canoeing/kayaking, ATVing, private Wyman Lake cruises on a large pontoon boat, and backcountry Jeep 4X4 excursions! Your rustic cabin rental is private, however, you will be able to visit and utilize the main lodge if you would like to. Here we have a den with native animal mounts that we consider a small museum, a must see for children and adults who may never get a close up look at such wildlife. There is also a large TV with satellite channels in case you just can't miss something! The dining room in the main lodge is where breakfast is served if you have reserved it. We also encourage you to visit other guests at the communal campfire area or small trout pond, and even play outdoor lawn games together. As part of our larger B&B, either the owners or housekeeper are usually on the property. If we must leave, you will have our cell number and email in order to contact us. We try to let our guests know ahead of time if we are going to be unavailable so we may assist with needs in advance.
