Heritage Home Holiday

My 1900 Heritage Home is a quick walk to shops, good restaurants, a small movie theatre, antique shops, Saturday organic market and beautiful Ferris Provincial Park for day hikes. The WestBen live theatre and Trent River canal are 5 min away. The cozy bedroom and adjoining elegant sitting room are decorated with period furniture. I provide cotton linens, feather and poly pillows, and a feather duvet all cleaned with eco friendly products. My home is allergy safe. The spaces are bright with a very comfortable bed and ample seating on a couch and chairs. Please bring your own toiletries. Special arrangements for stays of a week or longer are negotiable. You enter through kitchen at back of the large home, which is adorned with a shaded sitting porch. Your rooms are just off the old style kitchen. You have a key while you are a guest. Parking for one car is available also at back of home. I will be available until 11:00 am to assist in any way necessary. I’ll see you in the kitchen periodically and expect you will be out during the day exploring the area, as there is quite a lot to do. I live in a heritage neighbourhood with 5 x 80 foot trees on my property alone. If you are staying longer, you have access to my above ground salt water pool. 5 minute walk to the Trent River and Ferris Provincial Park. Your feet will help you in town, and otherwise, you will need a car. I am close to the Trent River and several locks on the Trent -Severn Waterway. We have refurbished movie theatre and the Westben Theatre for live music of all genres with 5 minutes. If you like hiking, Ferris and Goodrich Loomis Provincial Parks offer many marked trails. Dooher’s Best Bakery in Canada is downtown, and World’s Best Chocolate and Empire Cheese are some of our landmarks. 40 minutes to Prince Edward County
