Cabin 3 is located down our 1.2 mile driveway on a 350 acre compound. Unplug and unwind here with the wildlife that surrounds you. Snowmobile from your cabin on our connector to Maine ITS in the winter. Spring and summer, two public golf courses within 5 miles, swimming, boating and fishing minutes away as well. Day trip to the Appalachian Trail, Baxter State park and Mt. Katahdin or the Moosehead Lake Region. Nearby Bangor offers international airport, shopping, dining and a casino. Queen sized bedroom, daybed in common area and loft with two twin beds. Peaceful, quiet and safe retreat in the Maine woods with all the comforts of home. Four mile trip to town for food, pharmacy, pizza, ice cream and fishing supplies. True log cabin inside and out with private porch and picnic tables. Kitchen equipped with dinnerware, coffee maker, microwave oven and electric skillet. Charcoal grill outside steps from your porch. You are encouraged to hike our trails that loop around the cabins, enjoy the pond and the ducks, beavers and otters that splash around in addition to the firepit and all open areas. We are into the woods, but not out of touch with the closest main shopping area 4 miles away. Enjoy our trails, jogging the 1.2 mile driveway or skip rocks on our pond. We are so far off the main road that you won't hear any traffic noise, just the sounds of nature or your own laughter. Less than an hour away from us are Peaks Keney State Park, (14 miles) Sebec Lake and beach, Moosehead Lake, and Baxter State Park just a bit further.
