Classic Colorado cabin escape in Marble, Colorado

If you are looking for a quiet escape with incredible views this cabin will meet your needs. It is located exactly 60 miles from Aspen above the small town of Marble. It offers a plethora of options for a family of four or just a couple who would like to get away for a week or so. There are hiking, biking, fishing and four wheel drive options. There is a great restaurant in Marble called the Slow Grooven Cafe or you can cook anything at the cabin as it is fully furnished with everything you need This beautiful cabin is located exactly 60 miles from Aspen and is butted up to the Aspen Snowmass Wilderness. It offers a quiet solitude that is unmatched! The cabin offers a priceless 270 degree mountain view with hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing, horseback riding and rivers and lakes to play in! It has a full kitchen with everything needed for a gourmet chef along with an outdoor weber gas grill. New this summer we have installed Wi-Fi for our guests. The cabin is furnished by most of Barbara Walters log-framed furniture and cabinets. The main floor has a bedroom with a queen size bed and the loft has a king size bed along with two down-filled couches that comfortably sleeps two people. It has a antique claw foot bath/shower along with a separate toilet room. It has a huge dining room table and a full kitchen. The cabin is off the grid and is powered by a photovoltaic battery system along with a propane generator that automatically starts when the load requires it. Downstairs has a recreational room with a pool/ping pong table and a sleeper couch. There are a plethora of hiking/biking trails along with some great 4WD roads with access to some beautiful hikes to lakes. It has a large deck with a dining table for breakfasts, lunches and nice evening dinners. Our guests have access to everything in the cabin I will open the cabin up and make sure everything is on and operational prior to there arrival and provide directions prior to their trip. Very quiet and minimal traffic due to a private dead end road You will need your own vehicle and a 4WD in the winter It's a very quaint and beautiful escape!
