Cozy 2 bedroom upstairs apartment in a two-family home with all amenities. It sleeps 4 comfortable or up to 6 guests with shared beds. Living room couch pulls out for an optional 3rd bedroom. Located near 495 and the Pike. Only 40 minutes from Worcester, Boston and Providence without traffic and within walking distance of all major stores. "The Brown House" is a historic home located in the heart of downtown Milford. It has been in our family for four generations and I put my heart into maintaining this property. It was built in 1900 so it's not pristine. It has several quirks that come with an old home but it is cozy and comfortable and has everything you need to feel at home. It sleeps up to 6 but it's most comfortable to accommodate 4 should guests prefer separate beds. The property is conveniently located in a commercial district so guests can get around local dining and shopping centers without a car. It is right across from several restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores and services. There is also a bike trail within walking distance. There are over 25 trees surrounding the property, a fence and a large landscaped yard to give you a private and relaxing outdoor experience seasonally. * Please note that there are limited outlets as it is an older home. Some lighting fixtures are old fashioned pull down chains. Guests will have access to a refrigerator and stove and all necessary kitchen utensils and dinnerware. There is also seating and a grill outside. Propane is used for the stove and must be lit manually. Unless guests need me I remain out of site and out of mind. The apartment will be ready for check in and guests may leave as they please. I do, however hope that you will feel free to reach out to me if there is anything they need that I can help with. I like to make sure you have the best experience possible! I love that my neighbors are the local businesses. I have made friends with all the local restaurant owners and I love that I can walk across the street to get breakfast, lunch and dinner and everyone knows me by name. I hardly ever need a car. I love supporting the local businesses and at night when they all close down it's so quiet that you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. It's like having the best of both worlds. This location is also within minutes from 495 and 10 minutes from the Mass Pike. Without traffic it is only 40 to 50 minutes from Boston and Worcester and only 25 minutes from Framingham. It is also 10 minutes from the commuter rail at Forge Park in Franklin. In the spring and summer months the yard is beautifully decorated with flowers and herbs. We are farmers and we grow our own annuals and perennials so we like to make sure the property always looks nice. In the summertime you can also enjoy fresh produce and herbs from our large garden in the back yard. Over the years I have attracted several species of birds for your enjoyment.
