We are OPEN again! Come enjoy a peaceful Vermont stay. This sunny walkout basement apartment is a spacious friendly retreat. Granite steps to a private entrance with a covered porch. Full kitchen and bathroom with shower/soaking tub. One bedroom with a queen bed plus a pull-out double futon in the living area. Designed for 2 guests, there is space for an additional adult or child. Located 30 min. from Woodstock, VT. or Hanover, NH. Friendly dogs are allowed with permission. Welcome to Quadrille horse farm! Our 20-acre property is located in the peaceful quintessential Vermont town of Strafford. This is a rural location but an easy walk to the general store. Our sunny basement apartment (16 Windows!)was recently renovated and is a perfect retreat for guests who love animals, whether traveling on their own or enjoy seeing horses graze in the fields outside their windows. There is an extra pull-out futon bed in the living area. Private entrance. Must be able to walk up/downstairs as our apartment is accessed by outside granite steps. Guests have their own private sunny large walkout basement apartment, full kitchen, and bathroom with shower and soaking tub. A private porch to yourself, or just sip your morning coffee and view our horses, sometimes deer, turkeys, and other critters in our pastures. We provide continental-type breakfast (coffee/ tea, granola, yogurt, fruit, etc) for your leisurely mornings. Guests can stroll around our property (being mindful of electric fencing ) Our horses are friendly and enjoy pats and carrots! We are located on a dirt road for long country walks. We also have a small pond to swim or fish for wide mouth bass..or just sit by the pond and enjoy! We do not have reliable cell phone coverage, but guests have access to wifi internet. Strafford is a treasure of a town for mountain biking, hiking, and exploring the Upper Valley and central Vermont. We are about 1/2 hr. to Hanover, NH, and to Woodstock, VT. We will greet our guests and review and answer any questions they have. We live upstairs so can be reached if needed. We also will respect the guests privacy during their stay! We love our scenic views of fields, hillsides and friendly town. Our small farm is well landscaped with our gardens and we take joy of taking care of our dogs and horses. A rural dirt road location with an easy walk to the General Store. Only 20 min. to Norwich,VT & 30 minutes to Woodstock, VT. Hanover and Lebanon in New Hampshire are 30 min. away. About an hour drive north to Stowe, VT or Montpelier, VT. No public transportation..we are in rural Vermont! We will provide a basic assortment of continental type breakfast foods for your mornings. Coffee, teas, cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. Well mannered dogs allowed, we have a fenced back yard. Sorry we do not allow cats due to allergies. We also have room for up to 3 horses with stalls and turnout available. $30 per horse per day, discounts for longer stays. These fees are not part of the Airbnb agreement. Hay and shavings provided. Bring your own grain. My 2 horses will not be in the barn while guest horses are here, as they have a run-in shed.
