This is a small cottage IDEALLY for 4, but with the use of outside in the summer it’s great. Welcome to my little piece of heaven. Please book ONLY if you are looking for relaxation & quiet community. We also have a dedicated 4g LTE hotspot with unlimited data to compliment Wi-Fi. Fully Verified Guests Only! If you would like to see the property ahead, you must make appointment. You cannot see the house from the road and we host regularly. I live in the house closest to the road. Please contact me if needed. 95% of people do not visit the property ahead of time & are my biggest fans. This space is located on the north part of Lake Hopatcong (the Sussex County side) and has been family owned for more than 52 years. This home is solely designed for vacation renters, travelers, & family use in non booked times. The host, Danielle lives in the other family home that landlocks this property and is available for any questions and always around for assistance. This lil cottage was built in the 1920’s, it is a small single family home for single family rental. It’s cozy for getaways with a great view! There isn’t a lot of privacy because of size so keep that in mind, if you intend to book with friends. This cute home has a dock and also belongs to the beach club that is 50 ft away. There is a flat $30/week fee for beach club access should you like to use it for your stay (for 8 guests with unlimited use) payable to the club upon arrival if you plan of using the facilities. The house is tiny & ideally for four and it’s not big enough for privacy; it can sleep 7 but it’s for friends or those that don’t mind sharing close proximity. It’s great for use of the lake and beach club during the summer. The Home has a gas stove, toaster oven, microwave, Coffee pot, and blender. Property has its own propane grill. It has a bunk bed, a queen, futon, and couch for 1 added sleeping spot. Flat screen Tv in living room has update Amazon Fire TV prime with Netflix & Hulu. It has been decorated in a tranquil theme with even new glass tile backsplash. **Note: home has a Small hot water tank for about 15 minutes of hot shower, for parties over 2 strategic water planning necessary. Take about 35-40 to reheat to full cap. ***Great icefishing for outdoorsman in the winter! And wicked sleigh riding at the club during the winter. The lake is also fabulous for ice skating! The property has a dock ( Note: Dock has steep steps and is strenuous, not handicap accessible) Boat rentals are available at the marinas. I live in the house above this property and it landlocks the lakefront house. I am always around and just a text away :) I love meeting new people! I love my neighborhood because it is at dead end street, which is where the beach club it located. It's family friendly and hospitable. Neighbors watch out for each other and take care of our little piece of heaven. Our private beach club is celebrating 83 years and many of our families are multi-generational. The cove is not for swimming and is prohibited, there are snappers and water snakes. It’s great for fishing though! The beach club is available for swimming. Please see details for more info. The property has a dock ( Note: Dock has steep steps and is strenuous, not handicap accessible) Boat rentals are available at the Bridge Marina. The water level depends on the season. Swimming is not advised in the cove because of snapper turtles and seaweed. The beach club is private and with rental you have guest badges up to 8 people. There is a club use fee of $30/ per week, paid by check or cash; made out to BBCC. Must obey all rules and safety procedures, if any violation ensues the beach rights will be revoked for remainder of stay. Which includes but not limited to following lifeguards directions, no glass, no one under the age of 16 permitted without guardian of 18 years or older. No swimming alone. Full rules are posted at club. I live in the house closest to the road and it landlocks the lakefront house. I am always around and just a text away :) I am always working in the area or on my yard and love meeting new people! You have your own area and it is solely yours during the stay. This private club has been around for 80 years and having access to the beach club is an Exclusive invitation for my guests. PLEASE NOTE**** If you are planning on using our private community club the fee of $30/week, you are given reusable badges for up to 8 guests. You must leave badges in the house when your stay is over. PAYABLE TO BEACH CLUB UPON ARRIVAL. Details in house manual. The train is 15 min away in landing and limited on weekends. We are about an hour or so from NYC and 10-15 minutes from major highways. Welcome to my little piece of heaven.
