Dear guests and potential guests, Due to the COVID19, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. We are also using a hospital grade disinfectant fogger which has been proven conclusively to kill SARS-Cov-2 with a dwell time of 5 minutes, between each reservation as an extra precaution. In order to ensure proper cleaning/disinfecting of the rental, check in is anytime after 5pm and check out is anytime before 10am. We appreciate your understanding as we all try and navigate our new normal. In the interest of the health and safety of all my guests, I’m asking everyone to answer the following questions before booking: * In the last two weeks, have you or anyone you live with traveled to any areas that have been impacted by COVID-19? * Have you been diagnosed with, or suspect that you have contracted, COVID-19? * Do you currently have any travel restrictions in your area due to COVID-19?” If you answered yes to any of the above questions please contact me prior to booking anything. Thank you for your understanding during this unprecedented time. We hope things will be back to normal soon! *Note About the Beach* - Georgian Bay water levels are constantly changing. Last year, most of our beach disappeared. The levels seem to be going down a bit this year which has exposed some of our beach again! There is however a large grassy area right by the water that guests can use (see photos). Depending on the water levels during your stay, you may or may not see the beach. There is a sandy public beach less than a 2 minute walk away from the cottage called Magnus Park that can be used if guests would like to enjoy the beach. The maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any given time is 6. Please do not bring any additional guests during your stay. Our septic system doesn't allow it. Should it be found that there are more than 6 people on the property you will be charged extra and may be asked to leave. The tap water is not drinkable, however we will provide a water dispenser with water for you to drink. Absolutely no parties allowed. Out of respect for the neighbours please keep noise to a minimum between 10pm-8am daily. Absolutely no dogs or pets are permitted due to allergies. If it is found that you have brought a pet, you will be charged a $300 cleaning fee because the family that use the property are highly allergic Any watercraft onsite is to be used at your own discretion. We will not be held liable for any incidents resulting in the use of onsite water equipment. It is the user's responsibility to be aware of weather conditions, watercraft rules and any local laws associated with the use of the equipment. Please make yourself familiar with fire burning / firework bylaws in our area. Information can be found on the Tay Township website. *Note. We are currently in the process of making some improvements in the main cottage. The kitchen floors and window are being replaced. The current photos do not reflect the way the kitchen will look during your stay. We expect these renovations to be done by the end of May and will be updating our photos accordingly.
