The Mountain House at Mager Mill

Our place is your perfect home away from home in the Catskills. This home has been in our family for 30 years. We are excited to share our favorite place with you. Please respect our home as if it were your own. Our house is close to wedding venues, parks, art/culture, restaurants, fishing, tubing, kayaking, hiking, swimming, and golf. You’ll love our place because of the coziness, the high ceilings, the views, the location, the people. Our place is good for couples, families, and big groups. This home offers a great room with combined eating, living, and dining space. Our huge wooden kitchen table is perfect for group meals, games, and hanging out. This is a great space for groups that offers 3 private bedrooms all with double beds and a large loft with 4 twins put together as 2 large double beds. The outdoor space is amazing with a huge wrap around deck that overlooks the stream with beautiful waterfalls. There is also a great outdoor fire pit for your enjoyment. In addition, there is a BBQ on the deck for grilling along with tables and seating for relaxing. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and stove top, microwave, coffee maker, blender, mixer, and fridge. Guests can access all areas of the house with the exception of a few storage spots that have locks on them. In addition, the shed is not accessible to the guests. Guests DO have access to our amazing property for hikes, hanging out, relaxation, and making s'mores by the outdoor fire pit. I am available through texting if guests have any questions. Our house is ideally located close to so much the Catskills has to offer including: Susan's Pleasant Pheasant Farm- standup kayaking, kayaking, fishing and swimming this is a 10 minute walk down the main road or 2 minute drive. Pakatakan Farmers' Market - Open Saturdays 9am-2pm May thru October 5 minute drive. Wedding Venues - Hanah Mountain Resort and Country Club 4.3 mile away - Stone Tavern Farms 6.6 miles away - The Inn at West Settlement 7.7 miles away - Plattekill Mountain 7.8 miles away - Spillian 9.8 miles away - Mountain Brook Inn 16.2 miles away Delaware and Ulster Rail Ride - Scenic train rides 10 minute drive.
