Located at the foothills of the breathtaking Berkshire mountains and surrounded by apple trees and protected forest, we are just 10 minutes from the quaint town of Chatham, NY. Hudson, NY - with its thriving scene of local restaurants, art galleries, antique shops and boutiques - is around 20 minutes away. Historic Great Barrington, Lenox & Stockbridge, MA / Catamount, Butternut & Jiminy Peak for the skier and snowboarder are all a short drive away. This is an area that you will enjoy in all seasons: Hiking trails and conservation areas, swimming holes, antiquing, gorgeous historic towns in both New York and Massachusetts, most within 10-35 minutes drive, u-pick farms, vineyards, historic sites, skiing, local farm to table cuisine and much more. 5-7 minutes off the Taconic State Parkway (for NYC). 5-7 minutes from the I-90 (for Boston). 25 minutes from Amtrak - Hudson, NY stop. Tranquility Barn is extremely private. It looks out onto lush woods and a delightful creek. The small dirt road has very little traffic. On request, we will consider guests with dog/s.
