Country cottage to enjoy private room and nature.

The cottage is a typical country atmosphere, The host can stay at the second floor at any time, using a different entrance door that will led into the space the visitors ( not in the private room, and bathroom) are staying, same time making effort to give privacy and comfort as much as possible during your stay time this way, You can request any additional information or supplies at any time. for example, during the winter the fire place will be under the host's supervision -Please note that THIS IS A SHARED space. The space consists of: -A master bedroom with a queen size bed, (for only two people) closet with mirror and radio -Full kitchen with oven (includes coffee maker, microwave, sandwich maker and all necessary utensils, dishware and pots/pans) -Living room with wood fireplace (only with the host supervision) TV, games and great views from the windows -Full bathroom with hot water, hair dryer and all necessary supplies (towels, etc.) -A/C and heater -Wi-Fi -Outdoors deck with grill, hammock and picnic table You can roam around the whole first floor of the house and out. Explore and ask if you need anything. The Host is available early in the mornings and any time after 6:00pm all night and the guest can feel free to call, email or text message any time. Not many things around. Brookby Farm is a 10 minute walk. The town of Dover is 7 mins away and there is a McDonalds, Subway, CVS and Dollar store as well as some gas stations. Ten Mile River, Crown Maple Estate are near by. Kent and New Milford Connecticut are 20 minutes away and there are many shops there. The nice thing about my house is that you can spend all day at home soaking in the relaxing countryside or go out and explore Millbrook, Stanforville, Sherman, Pine Plains, Wassaic and Amenia. You will need a vehicle to get around as there is limited public transportation around. the old Dover stone church is near by, route 22 will take you south into NYC city(1.5 hours) or north into Massachusetts(1 hr). There are two Metro North train stations nearby; Harlem Valley and Dover. If you're looking to come here for the weekend I can pick you up at the train station for a small fee. Must be okay with cats.
