The Forest View Log Cabins overlook a vast Forest atop of a ridge with 156 acres to roam. Enjoy the hilltop vistas and Amish countryside! You can hike our lands, have bonfires at night, or enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature. We are close to the Elroy Sparta bike trail, canoeing on the Kickapoo River, Local Amish shops and more. Wildcat State Park,Kickapoo Valley Reserve and Fort McCoy with public hunting and other outdoor activities are close by. WiFi has been added to the cabin. Our log cabin gives you all the benefits of camping but with all the luxuries of staying in a home. Guests may have evening bonfires. Hiking on the property is also permitted. We are local to Chicago but visit often. If we are not there during your stay we will have someone meet you or leave a key. We are just a phone call away to answer any questions you may have. The area is very quiet and peaceful. Deer, birds and other wildlife are always spotted. We have beautiful sunsets, and light shows from the summer storm to watch from the front porch. Car is essential We are 1 hour west of Wisconsin Dells, 45min from Lacrosse and the Mississippi River. Amish shopping and crafts are 10 minutes away. Beautiful country roads for motorcyclists and hard core bikers. We are located in the middle of the Elroy Sparta bike trail.
