Scenic Country Home 30 Min Outside Of Dallas

Come and enjoy a charming staycation in Lucas, Texas – just east of Allen and only 30 minutes outside of Dallas. The home is tucked away in a quiet, scenic nook at the end of a street that also leads to Lake Lavon’s Trinity Trails. No parties or events allowed Located less than a half mile west of Lake Lavon, the home has everything you need to relax: covered patios, propane grill and smoker, fenced in acre of yard, garden, cozy furnished interior, record player, board games, outdoor fire pit and a fully stocked kitchen if you would like to cook a family meal. There is also a 65inch smart TV with Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Showtime and the home has wifi. Outdoor entertainment includes a garage with ping pong, foosball table, PutterBall game, and the Trinity Trails are less than a quarter mile walk away. Trinity Trails along Lake Lavon loops 25.5 miles total with multiple trailhead spots next to the lake. The trail encourages hikers, joggers, nature lovers, photographers, and trail riders to get out and enjoy nature. There are also multiple trailheads that are a 5-10 minute drive away if you’d like to have a picnic next to the lake. Our neighbors across the street are on 100 acres and have a fully functioning farm with horses, cows, donkeys and other animals. From the front porch and all bedrooms, you can see the animals graze in the pasture and drink from the pond. Within a 10 minute drive, there's a pleasant diner, Mexican restaurant, donut shop, gas station with beer and wine, CVS and other convenient shops. Or if you'd like more food and entertainment options - Allen's shopping center and TopGolf is about a 15 minute drive away. We live in Dallas and use the home for weekend family time and hosting. The home is versatile to the adventure you’d like; Unwind and decompress from a long work week, reinvigorate with a jog along the Trinity Trails or bring family and friends out for grilling and game night!
