Waterfront Oasis at the Depratto Inn

If you’re looking for a short term rental; going to an out of town meeting, training, work or even better a vacation then this place is for you. Welcome to our home located in Summerstown Ontario along the St. Lawrence River. This waterfront home is 15 minutes from Cornwall, Ontario where there are many retail and grocery stores and easy access to the Massena US border for some cross-border shopping. We are also approximately 1 hour to Old Montreal Quebec and Ottawa Ontario. During the summer months, renters have access to the hot tub, a salt water pool, gazebo, fire pit and fishing or swimming off the dock. Please note; the hot tub and pool are closed during the winter months. Enjoy beautiful views of the river as the cargo ships, yachts and cruise lines go by. Not to mention local boaters, kayakers and water skiers. Guest can access all areas of the home with the exceptions of the locked basement, one upstairs locked closet and a small room and freezer in the garage. We believe in giving our guest their space, however we are always available by text, email or phone. We’re located on the waterfront of the St. Lawrence River with a beautiful view of the Adarondack Mountains. In the summer we see several ships going by the channel directly in front of our yard. We are 20 minutes from Cornwall where there are many grocery stores, shopping and activities. You will need a car to get around. There is a laminated list with instructions that you will find upon arrival. Coffee, tea, sugar and coffee mate is available for your pleasure. Some spices and condiments is available for your pleasures. The TV stations work from an Android streaming box. You may contact us once you are settled if you have questions on connectivity. Netflix is available. Pets are allowed on the furniture, we ask that you cover any furniture your fur baby uses with throw blankets found in the living room. You must clean up after your pet in the yard. Garbage pickup at the road is each Tuesdays and blue box is every other Tuesday. Each shower has a soap/shampoo/ cream rinse dispenser for your convenience. Bookshelf in main floor bedroom with many books for your reading leisure, please do not leave with any books. Washer and dryer is found in the main floor bedroom hidden underneath the counter top. Laundry soap is provided. We ask before you check out that you: 1. Strip the linen from the beds you slept in and put them in a pillow case then place on the floor. 2. Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and start it. 3. Take all of your food leftovers with you when you leave. 4. Pick up after your dog. 5. Leave the house in the order as you found it. 5. Lock all doors, close all windows and blinds. 6. Make sure the fireplace thermostat is at its lowest setting. 7. Place the key back into lock box after you’ve locked all doors. 8. Make sure all lights are off. I
