Private Basement - Cozy & Clean - No Cleaning Fee!

Come enjoy a private basement, private room with a queen bed, and private bathroom in Northwest Indiana. 3.9 miles off of Highway I-65! We welcome long term stays! If you are in need of our space for more than 7 nights please reach out to us and we will be happy to answer any of your questions. Welcome! Our space is ideal for really any traveler we think! We have a very large living area for you to relax and watch tv after a long drive or if you’re in town for a few days enjoy all of the fun that is included! The piano, pool table, guitar, and ukulele are all here for you to enjoy. If you would rather, just sit, relax and grab a book to read. If the weather is nice, hang outside on our walk out patio! A smart tv that includes Amazon Prime, Netflix, and other apps is included in your bedroom as well as living space. If you are in town for a few days or want to enjoy the area during a quick stay there are so many restaurants and shopping areas nearby! 7 miles to County Line Orchard 11 miles to downtown Valparaiso 47 miles to downtown Chicago 8.7 miles to downtown Crown Point 3.6 miles to Southlake Mall & Cooper’s Hawk Winery and restaurant (Great food!) 6.9 miles to Off Square Brewing (highly recommend their chicken sandwich) 2.5 miles to Devils Trumpet Brewing 24 miles to 3 Floyds Brewery 2.2 miles from Deep River Waterpark 1.3 miles to Albanese Candy Factory You will have access to the entire basement! This includes a private bedroom, private bathroom, private living space and private patio! You will enter and leave from the basement door. Lockbox code will be given after booking with check-in details. We respect our guests’ privacy, so the amount of interaction is determined based on the needs of our guests. Very quiet lovely area. Parking in driveway. We do not charge a cleaning fee! I (Kelly) personally clean each of our locations. We have a 5 star rating for cleanliness! That’s not to toot my own horn but to say that we believe no one will take better care of our locations and make sure they are in perfect shape for our guests. We hope this adds value to you and your stay! We have a 20 month old. It’s basically a guarantee that you will hear him :) remember, this is a shared space. We live upstairs :) We have a dog! He is a Wheaten Terrier. He is hypoallergenic and doesn’t shed. He does not have free roam of the home. You will hear him as well :)
