Gabriola cottage & gorgeous garden near ocean

My cabin is 5 minutes from the Surf Lodge & Ocean on Berry point road, Twin Beaches and 10 minutes to Malaspina caves. It's a fabulous rustic get-away in a tranquil garden setting for couples or families, close to beaches and parks, the perfect vacation! Time to chill! The main floor has a well-stocked kitchen, dining area, living room with woodstove, bathroom and a bedroom with a bunk bed that sleeps 2. The 2nd floor has a queen-size poster bed with a bathroom and a seating area. The bathtub and shower on the main floor is privately situated in a forest-like setting. It is a sanctuary on 1 acre of garden- help yourself to raspberries in the summer or cozy up to the fire in the winter. There is a pond with a bridge and froggies galore surrounded by tropical banana plants, calla lilies, irises and wild ginger. We call our sanctuary "Aina" which in hawaiian means "that which sustains us." Enjoy and chillout! Rosemary & Dave, our aunt & uncle live around the corner and can help if you need anything. Gabriola has the best to offer as a Gulf Island, quick access to quiet beaches, walks in the forest, cycling, kayaking, an arts community, local farmers and a tranquil respite from urban hubbub and bustle.
