Peaceful Cottage Garden

This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath duplex with a cottage garden and carport/patio. My organic garden is a "certified wildlife habitat" by the National Wildlife Federation. The duplex is 1100 square feet with full kitchen, dining area, living room (fireplace not functional), laundry room and is at the end of a cul-de-sac. Very quiet neighborhood in which I have lived for 25 years in the other half of the duplex. I do not spray any chemicals in the house or garden. The garden is for the birds, butterflies, and bees. Keep your eyes out for other critters such as squirrels, skinks, lizards, toads, and tree frogs. If you go into the garden only walk on the pathways and not into the flower beds. There is a drainage ditch just outside the fence and so it is somewhat of a wildlife corridor. You will occasionally see herons, hawks and other birds fly into the ditch hunting for food. Magazines and books are for your use and if any appeal to you, please take them with you when you leave. Kitchen has the basic spices and condiments. Also some laundry detergent and cleaning supplies are available. I live next door in the other half of the duplex and so should be available when I am not working part time. The garden also takes up a lot of my time, you will find me there most afternoons. We are southeast of town but there are many very good restaurants in the area. Our location is quite close to interstate 12, Woman's Hospital and Oschner Hospital, as well as shopping centers. A car is necessary, although Uber and Lift are available in the area.
