Lake Mitchell Retreat

Delightful year round home on Lake Mitchell (all sports). 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 fireplaces. Air conditioning, washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, private dock, large yard and 110 feet lakefront located just minutes from downtown Cadillac. Screened in porch, gas grill, deck overlooking the lake, fire pit with plenty of chairs. In the winter enjoy skiing at Caberfae, snowmobiling, ice fishing and cross country skiing. For June and July of 2022 (only) the guesthouse is included in all rentals. I will start you off with complimentary coffee and teas. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes. It is able to handle meal preparation for large families. The dishwasher is available to help with the clean up. Enjoy use of the fireplaces, fire pit, roof top deck and paddle boards during your stay. We also have a nice selection of yard games including volleyball, corn hole, Kan Jam, and bocce ball. There are plenty of outdoor chairs for the decks and around the fire pit as well as a shade umbrella you can use. There is a smart TV, Wi-Fi, board games, puzzles and great common spaces both indoors and out. This is the perfect destination for your family and friends to get together! Large yard, decks, gas grill and a private dock are yours to enjoy! You are also welcome to use our paddle boards. For larger boats I would use the launch at Mitchell State Park and plan to anchor it off our dock. Smaller boats and pontoons can use the launch which is one house away from ours. You can swim right from our dock. Lake Mitchell has a nice sandy bottom! Our ski boat and Ski Doo are not included in the rental. We love to interact with our guests when scheduling allows but we will not be on site during your stay. We are available by phone, email and text and live about 30 minutes away. Golf courses, restaurants, downtown, Mitchell State Park, snowmobile trails, downhill skiing and cross country ski trails are all within minutes! Ample parking for cars and boats! There is a boathouse on the property that we finished renovating the summer of 2018 into a guest house. It is available to rent in addition to the main house and will sleep 2-3. It has a large new bathroom, full kitchen and sitting area. The rooftop deck was completed summer 2017 and is perfect for morning coffee, afternoon sun and beautiful sunsets! There is an additional fee per night ($75) to rent the boathouse plus a $25 cleaning fee except for June and July of 2022 when we have included the Boathouse in all rentals.
