Healing Cabin (2 of 6) Moravian Falls

In Healing Cabin, the cozy smell of aged barnwood walls drifts you off into a peaceful river of sleep. The next morning, you wake up to the soft glow of sunlight peaking into your windows, and you feel safely encompassed by the pine trees that stand as tall sentinels outside your cabin. Healing Cabin has sliding barn door window covers, A/C, mini fridge, microwave, Keurig & coffee. Tucked back into the trees, this cabin has a ramp deck and is an easy walk to the outdoor Bathhouse. {THE CABINS} Cabins are about 16' x 20' with all untreated wood interior. Healing Cabin is completely insulated. No candles, smoking, or open flame permitted inside cabins. Some solar light posts outside, but please bring flashlights also. Linens and towels provided. We are a family friendly atmosphere :) {TOILETS, SINKS & SHOWERS ARE IN A SEPARATE BUILDING} There are no toilets, sinks, or showers in the individual cabins. Instead, we have a separate Bathhouse that includes restrooms and hot showers. There is a Men's and Women's side. {CABINS ARE UP A SLIGHT HILL} Guests must be able to walk up and down a slight incline to access cabins and Bathhouse. We have an electric golf cart to transport your luggage up the hill, if the hosts are available to do so. {FRESH MOUNTAIN WATER} We're on a mountain spring water system. Water has no chemicals and it is safe and healthy to drink. You will notice a Mason jar in your fridge filled with the mountain water for your Keurig machine. {THE GROUNDS} There are benches and picnic tables to enjoy quiet time or dining. There are two traditional charcoal camp grills in the main picnic area. There is a swinging bench and two tree swings! We want to maintain a quiet and tranquil environment for you and all our guests :) {FREE PARKING} We have a gravel parking lot on our property that guests can access for free. {THE PROPERTY & THE NEIGHBORHOOD} Our land is in a rural type area located on a private road (no winding roads). While it seems like we are in the woods, we are right off the highway. We are surrounded by trees on all sides and our property lays within the boundaries of the tree lines. - 5 min drive to The Gathering Church - 15 min drive to Prayer Mountain - 10 min drive to Food Lion (nearest grocery store) - 10 min drive to Kerr Scott Dam (lake, park, trails) - 10 min drive to Wilkesboro (nearest town) Owners live on premises in main house. We give our guests space but we're happy to help when needed. Host family lives on property. You will pass our home near the circle drive. Our dog lives with us, but he is kept in our home or on a leash when he is outside. We look forward to hosting you all! :)
