Huge house near Downtown....pet friendly!
During your stay, you have access to the entire house. The house is within walking distance to downtown Bloomington. There is a great bakery and bar/restaurant two blocks away, as well as a grocery store and the constitution trail. It’s located in a historical district with mature trees and beautiful homes. This old house very spacious, but cozy at the same time with a lot of recent updates. It has a huge front porch with a swing, as well as a semi fenced in back yard with two other decks and a fire pit. Pets are welcome, and leashes and pet treats are available during your stay. We just ask that if you bring a pet that you please clean up after them. The fridge is stocked with water and coffee creamer, and we have a great little coffee/tea bar available during your stay. Both TVs have fire sticks and WiFi is available. The bathrooms are stocked full of toiletries and anything else you may need during your stay. During your stay, the entire house is yours. The backyard is great with a nice deck and fire pit. I’m always available to meet with guests, but I have it set up so that check in and check out is at your own leisure. The house is located close to many nearby attractions. Castle theater is a little over a half a mile away. It’s about a 7 minute walk to the venue. Downtown Bloomington starts where castle theater is, and extends 3 blocks to the west and ends at Grossinger Motors arena. In the summertime the downtown farmers market is within 9 blocks from the house. Green top grocery and Franzettis pantry are located within 3 blocks of the house. Grove street bakery and Schooner’s bar and restaurant are two blocks from the house. The constitution trail is one block east of the house, and runs all though town. The house is located one block from the constitution trail which goes all though town. We have two bikes available for use during your stay as well as a lock. Bloomington/Normal also has Uber and Lyft. Weather permitting, getting around on foot is my preferred mode of transportation. The house is in a historical neighborhood that boast mature trees and gorgeous homes. Street parking is available at the house, and because the house is located on a corner, parking is available on either Taylor or Robinson street. There is no drive way or garage available, but there is always plenty of places to park.
