Circa 1900 Farmhouse with Salt Water Pool
Lovely old farmhouse, renovated with a stylish mix of modern design filled with art and antiques. On a quiet road in historic Bucks County with 3+ acres, fenced-in lawn (pet friendly), in-ground salt water swimming pool. Just 90 minutes from NYC or Philadelphia. 2 full size bedrooms plus a sleeping loft in the attic. Comfortably sleeps 6. Huge kitchen plus outdoor gas grill make this a cook's paradise. Lounge by the pool in summer months or sit in the screened porch watching the butterflies that flock to our echinacea flower garden. Birdwatchers will be rewarded! 2 fireplaces for cozy winter evenings, TV with DVD player & Chromecast device for access to Netflix and other web-streaming video services, Wi-Fi. NOTE: THERE IS NO CABLE TV, only an antenna to pick up local stations (ABC, CBS, Fox, PBS, etc). Guests have the entire home and property to themselves. I am available by phone, text or email if any needs or questions arise. I also have a local handyman who is available in case of household emergencies. Close to Delaware River for kayaking, canoeing, tubing, etc. Bike trails, antique stores or just walking in the woods make this an idea getaway from city life. Nearby trails for cross-country skiing in winter. Close to charming villages of Frenchtown, Millford & Lambertville, NJ, as well as New Hope, PA. Parking for up to 4 cars is available on site. There are buses available from NYC to nearby towns, but taxi services are few and expensive. Having a car is essential as the nearest town is an hour's walk away. Note: although home will be thoroughly cleaned before your stay, it may not be suitable for those allergic to pets as we have 2 dogs who are often there and they may leave residual dander behind. There is a TV and DVD player, as well as a Chromecast device which allows you to stream content from Netflix, Amazon, etc. using your laptop or smartphone. But there is NO CABLE TV.
