One in Mystic, an inviting and serene retreat

One in Mystic is located just over a mile from downtown Mystic as well as the quaint village of Noank. You will enjoy the peace and tranquility of this beautiful private suite. Explore the small fishing villages and rugged coastline of Eastern Connecticut. An immaculate suite with thoughtful touches throughout. One is in a quiet home surrounded by seasonal gardens allowing you to truly escape from it all while being close to countless attractions. One in Mystic, a place you'll want to return to. The private suite has exclusive access to the entire second floor of the home, and has a bedroom with a queen bed with an electric fireplace/heater. A separate sitting room has a cozy daybed, table and chairs for dining or playing games. There is a TV and WiFi access. The TV has Peacock and other choices for movies and shows. You can use your own Netflix , Amazon Prime for mor options. Also in the sitting room is small fridge with freezer, microwave, electric tea kettle and coffee machine. It makes it simple for your morning coffee or afternoon wine and cheese rituals that can be enjoyed from the comfort of the suite or at the table and chairs provided on the bluestone patio. There is parking for one car, perhaps two if we are notified ahead of time. The back door has a keypad for self check in. The host will send detailed check in instructions prior to arrival. We have a shared driveway and a entrance into a back hallway. There is a door that you can lock at the base of the stairway to the suite. We might on occasion use the back entrance because the back hall also has a door into our space. We also have a pantry in the back hallway. We have a table and chairs on the patio for your use. Bill and Jen have lived in Mystic since 1978. Both are avid gardeners and are proud grandparents of four. There are two indoor cats that live on premise but do not have access to the private suite. The house is surrounded with many gardens that they hope you will enjoy. Hosts will respect guests’ privacy and keep interactions to a minimum. Located in quite neighborhood, about one walkable mile to downtown Mystic. There is never a lack of things to do in this area. Along with Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos, you are a short distance to vineyards, museums and beautiful areas to hike and that is just for starters! In summer months, Mystic area offers outdoor concerts in the park and on the beach, food festivals, fairs, and a world renowned art festival. On arrival you will be provided with a book of your host’s favorite restaurants and area events. Mystic is located half way between NYC and Boston. Less than one hour from Providence RI's TF Green airport, one and a half hour from Bradley airport in Hartford CT. Downtown Mystic is 1.2 mi and the train station is less than 2 miles away. Air conditioner and beach chairs are seasonal. Stairs are somewhat steep. It is a cape cod style home without dormers so there is sloped ceilings. There are lots of walkers and cyclists on our road. Our driveway is on a curve in the road so please be careful when backing out.
