Spending time here in Pinky House is such a relaxation. I now share it with friends who look to enjoy nature and have a quality peaceful getaway. Knowing you enjoying your R&R here is a joy to me as well. ~ and I will do my best to make sure you feel at home & have a nice stay at Pinky’s) ❤️ Entering its pretty driveway along the brook, you will be greeted by the gorgeous trees and Pinky. House is on a small hill with interesting landscaping to the woods. (Only one neighbor on each side and is far away). House is very private (but not scary in a sense that you are totally alone), truly allowing you to relax. PinkyHouse is cozy and right size for 1-4 people’s comfortable stay. Each room has 2 exposures to the greenery and beautiful light throughout the day. (and mini-split AC/heating unit). ~ Large Bright open kitchen with sweet views of the mountains is often where the laughter gathers. Living room with oversized windows to the views. Both bedrooms embrace beautiful light, fresh air, birds singing, and green scenery! They are separated by the cozy living room with their own privacy! ~ Two decks with different views of mountains and woods. ~ The style is simple and minimally decorated, allowing you to simply be yourself and enjoy nature. Whether sipping wine on the deck, (front and rear decks) reading, listening to music, writing your novel, practicing yoga, or simply unwinding, you'll find sweet energy here. ~. We hope that you will enjoy and be back again and again as your country home. *** COVID-19 It’s important that you feel safe and comfortable for your stay here. ~ The cleaning is done by professional crew each time after the guest checks out. - follow CDC guidelines on cleaning and disinfecting the house. - disinfecting supplies, such as UV sanitizers, hand sanitizers, 70% alcohol, wipes, single-use gloves, and masks, as well as UV light are provided for the guests. (as you might want to disinfect the surface for your own comfort as well.) (& NYC bus pickup/drop off) - 10 mins to Phoenicia - 18 mins to Kingston (bus pickup) - 25 mins to Hunter ski - 40 mins to Minniewaska State Park The road itself is a gorgeous road for your relaxing walk. In Woodstock, easy to Phoenicia, Ashokan Reservoir. Or a short scenic drive to Hunter, Kingston, or Saugerties! Many gorgeous hiking trails nearby. Fishing and boating, antique shopping, or various festivals ... So many wonderful activities.. Or even simply driving along the road and letting nature takes your mind for a ride along those mountain roads! PS. Boiceville supermarket is only 4 mins away. So many lovely reasons for us to drive a couple hours up here and simply chill... let our body, mind, and soul enjoy a nice treat. Your world is so beautiful with your car here! (If you simply want to stay in for a quiet relaxation and don't have a car, Pinky House is only 10 mins from Tinker Street where the buses drop off is. you can take a taxi.) For our guests overall comfort, house has the policies: - No Pets - No-smoking. (inside the house) - Shoes-off - No parties. (due to Covid, also this is a nice peaceful area.) *** WiFi: Spectrum @ 200mbps. *** There’s no phone reception on/around the house and on the road. - You’ll need to rely on WiFi calling for making/receiving calls. (we haven’t had any issue.) (2 mins down you’ll have phone reception.) ** Pls note that a) Occasionally there might be bear activities on or around the property. They normally are out before dawn or late at night and they don’t come to people. (unless they are seduced by food.. which should not happen!) - no BBQ. - No food left outside - children shall be accompanied by adults if sitting outside. I have stocked most things you might need in the house so that you can travel light and easy. There are: a) Kitchen: coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, blender, air fryer/instant cooker, iron, cookwares and dining sets, drinkware sets...coffee and tea... washer dryer.. b) body wash/moisturizer, shampoos, and various skin care and etc. c) honesty fridge with wine and beers at convenience charges. d) Guitar, Yoga & basic workout sets for your relaxation. e) Bug spray, sun screens.. f) ** and for baby: dining set, body wash/shampoo, pack’n play, play mat, playpen.. ... ❤️ Travel light! ~ simply open the door and be at home! what else? ask me!
