This space is beautiful furnished! We are located in the heart of Waukegan right by the Roosevelt Park, have a private parking space in the back in addition to street parking out front, and include the amenities needed for cooking dining and meal prep. All furniture is new, and designed for comfort and class. The unit is the right unit in a story duplex. Ground level entry, with 4 steps going up to the front door. Key perks include a 4K smart TV, a full kitchen with plenty of dishware and cookware, comfortable queen and king beds, CHEMICAL FREE cleaning and cleaning products provided, a really nice coffee bar with both an excellent pourover setup (burr grinder, temperature controlled kettle) and a keurig, a security system and more! A washer, dryer and laundry detergent are available in the basement. Some things to be aware of so they do not negatively impact your stay are that there is one private parking spot (could probably fit two cars if one parks partially on the grass), and the building is rather close to the neighbors. So far I've had no issue with noise from any neighbors, and they are all really nice and accommodating people for when you run into them outside. There is street parking in front of the house in addition to the private parking spot, though availability may be hit-or-miss. You will have access to the apartment, 1 parking space directly behind it, a basement with a washer and dryer, and outdoor trash bins should you need them. Although this apartment has been setup for easy access and self check-in by way of a smart lock, I will be available via the app, and my co-host and cleaners live not too far away should anything be needed! This neighborhood is a rather quiet single family home (and a few duplexes) lower-income rental neighborhood. If you have never been to Waukegan or are unfamiliar with the area, please familiarize yourself with this area before booking. Having your own vehicle, or being prepared to use Uber or Lyft is recommended for getting around. The house is however, a stone's throw from the Belvidere/Powell Bus stop, and a 4min car ride from the Waukegan train station. Before every guest this home is thoroughly cleaned, and undergoes 2 days being empty and a 12 hr. ozone shock treatment to the air as well as UV light. This space is beautiful furnished!
