The basement it's like its own entire apartment. One full private bedroom & living room area w/ another bed and couches. Kitchen area has sink fridge microwave & Keurig machine. Bathroom has two entrances, one from the bedroom and one from the rec room. We hope everyone who comes finds it fun & relaxing! Entire basement including 4 separate areas; Have some fun in the Rec room with a full size bar/pool table, darts, flat screen t.v. Kick back in the living room on the couches & another large t.v. w/ Premium cable. Maybe play some board games or if you're in the mood, get your workout on the treadmill. The large bedroom also comes w/ a large closet, iron & ironing board, reclining rocker chair, desk & anther t.v. Private bathroom with 2 entrances to the bathroom (one thru bedroom) fully stocked with plenty of towels & washcloths & blow dryer & toiletries. Kitchenette area has Keurig machine w/ coffee & tea along with small fridge with freezer and microwave, but feel free to BYOB! Enjoy a glass of wine, a few beers or a smoke on our patio while watching the beautiful sunset every evening. NOTE: This is listing is just for the basement apartment, we will still be in the home using the shared spaces; you are welcome to share our kitchen, bbq grill, fire pit, 3 seasons room, patio & play set, powder room & use the laundry machine. There is a 1 mile path around the lake and 3 parks, a baseball field, a soccer field, basketball and even volley ball too! You do need to enter thru the front door but the basement has its own door and is completely private for you. We will be happy to help you with any suggestions on things to do locally for fun or great food in the area. I know the BEST pizza place around! Please feel free to enjoy our home as yours. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and we have a grill & fire pit in the backyard overlooking the lake (but would appreciate you not asking to use our hot tub). We also have a printer/fax. If we can help in any way just please just ask! Carol Stream is a nice family neighborhood and our house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac. There is a one mile walking path around the lake. Our lake is fully stocked with bass, carp and catfish. There's a mile about 10 minutes away and so many stores around here open 24 hours. Oh and tons of great chain restaurants you're familiar with. The closest train station is in Hanover Park it's four and a half miles away and a 12 minute car ride. There is a mall and all the usual big shopping chain stores about 5 minutes away. Burger King,Taco Bell and McDonald's are just across the street along with a grocery store. *I also drive for Uber so if you need a ride you can always ask me first ;-) Christina BBQ grill & fire pit. We have some guests fishing poles and a tackle box in the 3 Season room for you to use. Nothing major so if you're an avid fisherman you probably want to bring your own stuff. What we have bass, catfish & some really big carp! Parties are not allowed. Please limit your number of guest visiting to under 4 and must leave by 9pm, any guest staying past 9pm must be approved and added to the reservation thru Airbnb for insurance purposes.
