Rural Refuge from COVID in the City (1hr from NYC)

Enjoy Lake Hopatcong in this charming little home with private bedroom for rent. Shared Master bathroom with locks on door with jacuzzi bath tub and laundry room adjacent to private bedroom. Bedroom has a QUEEN SIZED PURPLE MATTRESS! Best nights sleep you’ll ever have! House is owned by married couple who are working from home. House is very child friendly with a fully equipped play/learning room. We do have 2 small dogs who are very friendly. Special Note: Bill Murray stays for free! Our cozy house is open to you to use. We are living in it as well but you will have access to all main rooms. The Master Bath, laundry room, living room, guest room and kitchen are shared and of course your room is fully private and the master bathroom has a lock on the door. There is a secondary full bath downstairs as well. The office, master bedroom and child’s rooms are off limits to guests. Otherwise the space is yours to use! Guests can come right in the front door or side mudroom door. In addition to their own private bedroom, guests have access to all common areas: kitchen, patio, front porch, laundry room, both bathrooms and living room. Plenty of safe private parking is available. COVID UPDATE: we are currently in the house and working from home with our 2 year old. The house will be open for you to share except for certain areas: master bedroom, child’s room and Office next to kitchen. We can be sociable or keep separate as our guests wish. We tend to keep to ourselves but are happy to socialize if guests would like to know about the area or get to know us better. We are a 3 minute drive from the Lake. There are several good restaurants and sports bars within walking distance or a short drive. The lake front has a mini golf course as well! Parking will never be an issue. The Dover Train station goes right into the city every day of the week! We can offer rides for an additional fee.
