Muskoka Waterfront Executive Cottage - Year Round!

Beautiful year-round private executive cottage on 3 acres in the heart of Muskoka. With a deck overlooking the Muskoka river and a floating dock, you will be sure to enjoy. Go for a swim, fish or use the kayaks & canoe to explore. You can laze around, have a campfire or a swing, while savouring the peace & quiet. In winter, you can get on the snowmobile trails directly from the property. Lots of places to snowshoe, skate, toboggan & ski. Its’s a winter wonderland! Weekly bookings in summer. Our cottage is 2200 square feet all on one level with an abundance of windows and light and is wheel-chair accessible. The heart of the home is the Great Room with its huge fireplace, soaring ceilings, vast windows, living and dining areas, as well as a modern kitchen. Off the great room, there is a den (with cable TV, lots of board games and movies) equipped with a rollaway bed hidden in closet; and in one of the bedrooms there is another rollaway bed - great for kids! Next to the kitchen, is an office and laundry room. Just off the dining area is a large screened in Muskoka room with a couch, chairs and rocking chairs. On the other side of the home are the three bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a wrap around deck, with lots of outdoor furniture, including a cast iron table and chairs and BBQ. Other outdoor seating areas can be found throughout the property. Including on the waterfront deck. Lots of privacy! Lots of parking. Guests have full access to cottage (except one closet and basement). Two kayaks and one canoe are available for use - with life jackets and oars. I am easily reachable and will respond to any queries quickly. Generally, it is self checkin with lockbox. Port Sydney is part of Huntsville and is close to Bracebridge. Gravenhurst & Port Carling are just a short drive away. There are lots of skidoo and ATV trails near by, and well as lots of parks, beaches, water falls, hiking trails and skiing. We are very fortunate to live on the beautiful Muskoka River! It’s a perfect location - just 3 minutes off the highway and so close to the heart of Bracebridge and Huntsville. Our cottage is ideal for couples and families looking for a quiet vacation spot. We prefer mature guests who will look after our cottage; we do not allow parties and excessive noise. Although the cottage works best for 6, there are also 2 roll away beds/cots available which are especially suitable for kids.
