House on the Hill

The perfect place, available year-round, for all Athens events, UGA occasions, and game day week ends. The home, built in 1936, has large rooms with 10 ft. ceilings and a kitchen that can accommodate any size group. The home sits on 5 acres with an outdoor fireplace, bocce ball courts, a sizeable outdoor patio, and plenty of space to spread out or gather, inside and outdoors. Only a 10 min Uber/ Lyft ride to downtown restaurants, bars, the Botanical Gardens, and the stadium. The only areas inaccessible will be the main garage and one bedroom on the main floor . Please do not park on the drive running in front of our home. It is the driveway for our only neighbor . I am usually not in town during guest stays . We do have my daughter and a maintenance person in Athens who can be available if needed. The neighborhood in front of our home is quiet and family oriented . It runs along the Athens Academy campus. We are not actually in the neighborhood , but beyond the neighborhood with acres of woods behind us. Uber and Lyft easily available. The Athens Academy campus is steps away from our home . You will drive through a neighborhood along side the Academy , to reach our home , which is at the end of Rockinwood Dr. There are 100 acres of woods behind our place.
