Escape to Long Lake

Relax and unplug at this comfortable and accommodating cabin on Long Lake just outside of Danbury, WI. Our favorite activities include: bonfires, swimming, kayaking, feeding fish off the dock, catching fish, and games indoor and out. Sit back and take in the beautiful sunsets this property has to offer while creating life long memories with friends and family. If you have stayed here in the past please note this listing has changed and the bunkhouse is no longer available. If possible please schedule your check out date on Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday. This will help our cleaners schedule and is greatly appreciated. This property is located 2 miles from Danbury. Danbury offers all of your every day essentials as well as a couple of restaurants and a casino. Pictures of the 2nd bathroom coming soon. It’s located in the garage and offers a tub, shower, toilet, and 2 sinks. We have floating devices for soaking up the sun as well as a floating dock about 200 feet from shore. There are 2 single kayaks and 2 double kayaks available for use as well as some kid and adult life jackets, however not enough for everyone to go kayaking at the same time. There are plenty of toys, and kid and adult games. Adult games include botchy ball, bags, and ladder golf. Kids can enjoy a small swing set on the edge of the property. There is an older canoe and row boat that could be used for fishing. A trolling motor could easily be attached to the row boat if you have one. There is not a public boat landing on this lake despite what the DNR website says. We have a gas grill for guests to use. My family and I live in Esko MN, just outside of Duluth, so we will not be around and will leave a lock box for entry. This Cabin is less than 2 miles to the town of Danbury. Danbury offers a grocery store, a gas station, a casino, as well as a few restaurants and bars. Local shops and stands very on days and times of operation. Growing up I spent summers at my Grandma's cabin. When she passed, and the cabin was sold I was determined to give my kids similar memories and experiences.
