New Harmony, located on the banks of the Wabash River, is famous for its history and many special landmarks, including the Roofless Church, the Harmonist Labyrinth, Richard Meier's Atheneum, the Rapp Owen Granary, and so many beautiful gardens. Some of the unique shopping offered would be at the Mews, Capers Emporium and the New Harmony Soap Shop. For local food fare, try the Yellow Tavern, Sara's, the Red Geranium or Maryscott's Kitchen. And be sure to savor a cup of the best coffee around at Black Lodge! Walking, biking or golf cars are really the best way to experience New Harmony! Just park your car and put the keys away! Golf cars can be rented in town and we supply a couple of bikes if you'd like to use them!
