**June 2021 Calendar NOT CURRENT - Message us before putting in a request - AirBnB is working on a huge snafu on their end where the calendar does not show correctly. *UPDATE 8/2020 Fiber and Xfinity WiFi installed (has NO cable CATV) Large WELL-EQUIPPED home in a great area, minutes from the PACIFIC OCEAN and renowned OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK. Read our top reviews and ask questions. We've had year long rentals, and many others from working groups to family vacationers who love the yard. Calendar is NOT always up-to-date. We have a large family who use the house, and it is always left immaculate. Please put random dates in, and contact us regarding availability. ***Don't like our pricing? Make us an offer we can't refuse!*** We have a very large, well furnished, very clean home located ABOVE the TSUNAMI Evacuation Zone 20 minutes from the PACIFIC OCEAN in the private, safe BEL AIRE neighborhood of ABERDEEN, Washington, the last full service city before reaching the wilderness of OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK (In 1976, Olympic National Park became an International Biosphere Reserve, and in 1981 it was designated a World Heritage Site.) and the Pacific Ocean. Many who have stayed in our home use it as a base for exploring all the way from the Washington/Oregon border (ASTORIA, about an hour away, was the end point of the LEWIS & CLARK Expedition in 1802), to the La Push area, the NW tip of the continental US. Forks, the setting for the TWILIGHT movies, is a short drive away, as are two magnificent RAIN FORESTS, the QUINALT, less than an hours drive, and the HOH, further north. RESPONSIBLE RENTER MUST BE 25 OR OLDER WITH REFERENCES - this is not a party house, but rather a large comfortable home in the quiet, well cared for Bel-Aire area, with neighbors who watch out for each other, but totally respect each other's privacy. The home has a huge, landscaped, flat, fenced yard where you and your family can relax and the kids can play. Or, you can walk around the beautiful area, directly adjacent to miles of Olympic Peninsula forest and a nearby wilderness park; deer are frequent visitors to our yard and are often seen wandering the neighborhood. Among the things you'll find on the main floor are a large living room with ample seating and 46" hi-def TV, a well-equipped (down to the spices & vinegars) eat-in kitchen; a large bath with tub & shower and a selection of toiletries; a 1/2 bath with washer, dryer, and a selection of detergents; a sitting room that can be converted to a dining room; a bedroom with a queen size bed; high thread count linens; another bedroom with a full bed; another bedroom with a twin bed and an office area including a printer. Downstairs is a huge finished daylight basement with a game area, 2 seating areas, one has a 27" TV, the other has a bar with bar stools, and a futon, and there is also a private bedroom w/ 2 twin beds and a closet. Forced air heat; air conditioning; queen size airbed by request; some children's items; lots of games; Assortment of books; some DVDs; wi-fi; HDTV, Area tour books. Some boots for the beach in various sizes; some rainwear; attached garage to park your car and stow gear; maps; hiking guides. And, lots more -- ask if we have it for you to use - we probably do! We have a large family and many friends, so have gear that can be shared by all. Good surfing, and surfing lessons, available at Westport, about a 20 minute drive. Check-in, Check-out times are somewhat flexible - just tell us what you need and we will try to accommodate the request. We welcome monthly or longer term rentals, and can try to accommodate special arrangements, such as your using only a small part of the home. Make us an offer we can't refuse! Can provide more recommendations, if desired. We had many other (non airbnb) reviews posted here, but airbnb policy changed so for some reason they no longer appear. We have done many private home and apartment rentals ourselves, and look forward to sharing our home with you. Ask questions about anything.
