Tenant's Harbor is a quiet village in the mid coast of Maine....Only a 5 mile drive to the Marshall Point Lighthouse (as seen in the film Forrest Gump), the ferry to Monhegan Island, Port Clyde Kayaks, and the Drift Inn Beach. In a 12 mile drive, you can enjoy the Owls Head Lighthouse & State Park, the Owl’s Head Transportation Museum, the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse, state ferries to several islands, and Rockland cafes, bakeries, and museums, including the Farnsworth. A 20 mile drive will take you to Camden Village, the Camden Hills State Park (extensive hiking trails and the auto road to the top of Mt Battie), and the Camden Snow Bowl with mountain biking. From the house, you can walk to the small village or to the waterfront. There are lots of good places to put a kayak in nearby.
