This historic area has recently received designation from the Federal government as a National Historic Park. The guest accommodation is located on the top floor of the David Finney Inn. The Inn is located in the center of the historic district, across the street from the Historic Court house museum. Four restaurants are located within two blocks of the Inn, giving guests ample opportunity to enjoy meals ranging from colonial fare to light lunch. Tourists to New Castle enjoy the opportunity to visit several local and nationally recognized attractions: Locally, Battery Park area extends south along the Delaware River from the historic district.
