Enchantment Cottage in Lake Country

The Enchantment Cottage is a private oasis set on the back acre of the property beyond the garden gazebo. It is the perfect hub for venturing out to enjoy the Lake, heading over for a hike at the state park, or visiting local wineries. The cottage offers pure privacy with access to all the amenities of the main Inn. Guests can enjoy the inground pool, hot tub, firepit, garden gazebo and our price always includes breakfast for up to 4 guests delivered to your door, the patio, or sunroom. The Enchantment Cottage is a great fit for couples seeking privacy for their anniversary or it has all the amenities needed for a family of four where the parents can have a romantic getaway and still provide fun for the kids with the dvd collection, board-games, fire pit for evening S'mores, or a visit to our pool and hot tub just steps away. It is also a great space for a little Girlfriends getaway where you can walk over to the Tavern or Restaurant and enjoy your cocktails without having to drive! As you follow the brick walkway past the pool and gazebo, you will enter the Enchantment Cottage through a private fenced-in yard while passing iron flower sculptures created by a local artist. Before you enter the cottage you will come to a private outside stone patio with dining table and fire pit for you to sit by and gaze at the stars or enjoy evening s'mores. You will enter the cottage through the beautifully sunlit sunroom and travel along as you pass through the kitchenette stocked with bottled water, snacks, sodas, and Starbucks coffee. There is also an oven, mini-fridge, and microwave just off the sunroom where there is a table for four. In addition to the sunroom, there is a cozy dining area where you can sip on your morning coffee or have afternoon tea. The Cottage has two bedrooms, one queen bedroom and one king bedroom. Both are equipped with terry robes, luxury linens, vanities, and iPod docking stations. There is a large bathroom with a two person double Jacuzzi tub and tiled shower with excellent bright lighting if you are getting ready for your special day or all lights can be dimmed to offer pure romance. The bathroom is stocked with plush towels and our signature luxury bath products. The living room is elegant but cozy with a hanging chandelier, two sitting chairs, large couch, and a flatscreen tv with dvd player and satellite cable. The room is enhanced by an All Seasons electric fireplace for heat in the winter months and soothing ambiance in the summer months. The cottage will meet all your needs with extras like complementary port wine and candles throughout. The wonderful thing about the Enchantment Cottage is you can have all the privacy of home but resort amenities and services are also available to you when you desire. We happy to check you in and give you a tour of the property or provide you with the key code to access the front door on your own. We are located a short walk from Kerr Lake, the biggest lake in Virginia, and are a part of Clarksville, "Virginia's only lakeside town." Walk to town and the Lake. Drive to daytime excursions. We also offer concierge services like booking massage right in the comfort of the cottage, arranging private Chef's dinners in the Garden Gazebo, room service, and kayak and paddle-board rental on the Lake. PET POLICY We know how difficult it is to leave your “best friend” at home at lot of times when traveling… you may want them to be a part of your special vacation at Cooper’s Landing. Even though we love animals, we do have some policies . . . Pets are allowed with innkeeper’s prior approval only! Just shoot us a "message" for approval prior too booking. A credit card will need to be placed on file with the main Inn for additional pet fees. A $25 per night small pet will be paid directly to the main Inn after pre-approval. Small pets are considered under 35 pounds. For larger animals in private cottages the pet fee is $35 per night. We do not accept any pets over 60 pounds. The innkeepers reserve the right to refuse accommodations to a pet upon arrival of they feel the animal possess any threat to the health or harmony of guests. Pets must be house-broken and non-chewers or diggers. Pets should be kept off the furniture and should bring their own crates / beds. If our pet policy is not followed additional fees may apply.
