Beautiful Lake Murray Retreat! Private retreat on beautiful Lake Murray, just a few steps to the lake and minutes from downtown Chapin! This lower level apartment has a private entrance with bedroom, full bath, TV, pool table, Comfy Queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Lake views from every room! Private patio has gas grill for your convenience. Private boat ramp available; fishermen welcome! Enjoy the beauty of lake living! Whether you prefer to bask in the sun on Adirondack chairs or play pool inside with a cold beer, we have something for you. The space has tons of windows, but is still quite private and in the back of the home. You will have a patio all to yourself to watch the sunset, couches to lounge on and a full size pool table to enjoy. You will also have a kitchenette with coffee, tea, and snacks to help you enjoy your stay. The bathroom even has a luxurious rain-shower faucet! Guests will have the entire lower level in-law suite to themselves. The suite has a private entrance, patio and comfy chairs for lounging. You are welcome to use the yard, boat ramp and dock. Dutchman Shores is a quaint little neighborhood just far enough out of town. If you decide to peel yourself away from the lake views, take a walk around "the circle" as we call it; is approximately 2 miles around. Chances are you'll get friendly waves from neighbors, make sure to wave in return- it's the southern way! The town of Chapin is about a 5 minute drive, where you can enjoy a handful of bars and restaurants. If you chose to stray further afield (30-60 min), you can enjoy the larger towns of Irmo, Columbia and Lexington. A car is a must-have. That is unless you would like to take advantage of our private boat ramp, then you'll be able to find everything you need (restaurants, nightlife, water-sports, etc) on beautiful Lake Murray! Homeowners have two cats, but they are not allowed in the lower level of the property. Chances are, you won't see Bonnie and Clyde during your stay, but feel free to give them a pet if you do. Fireplace is not functional at this time.
