This detached guest house will give you access to a gorgeous dock complete with private parking and located less than 20 minutes, by boat or car, from world class beaches and Destin. Wake up in the morning and watch the porpoise jump from the dock, throw a line, go for a swim, paddleboard, kayak or just relax with a cup of coffee. This upstairs guesthouse has a 55" LCD TV, YouTube TV, Netflix, WiFi, full size refrigerator with ice maker, kitchenette with sink, 2 burner induction cook-top, microwave, toaster oven, all plates, pot & pans and coffee maker. Full bathroom, heat and A/C, brand new memory foam queen bed, a 4" memory foam roll-away bed for that 3rd guest, dresser and closet. You will have private parking with room to bring your jet ski or small boat (single axle trailer only). You'll have access to a large backyard with dock privileges and a boat ramp next door. You can tie your boat up during your stay and find yourself at Crab Island in 15 minutes. In the backyard, you'll enjoy a hard packed sandy bottom while swimming off the dock as well as 2 kayaks and a paddleboard for your personal use at the house. Play Cornhole, swim or just relax and watch the sunset or even catch a speckled trout under the lights at night. Open for winter guests with special pricing for extended stay. GUESTS STAYING MORE THAN ONE WEEK WILL HAVE ACCESS TO LAUNDRY. We love to share our experiences about the area and will often watch the sunsets or the porpoise jump out past the dock in the evenings. You are welcome to sip adult beverages while enjoying the dock which is illuminated by solar lights at night or fish for trout and redfish under the dock lights. This is a quiet neighborhood. It is one way in and one way out so no heavy traffic. Excellent neighborhood for a walk, a jog or a bike ride. There is a park and boat ramp 8 houses away. We are 10 minutes to the beach and 20 minutes to Destin. We are one mile from Eglin Air Force base West gate and 5 miles from Hurlburt. There are too many golf courses to mention but a complete list of area golf courses, hospitals, shopping and dining will be available in our guesthouse. The Destin-Ft. Walton Beach airport is under 10 minutes from our house. Please provide your ETA. If you are bringing a boat (under21 feet), please inform us. We will need to coordinate the parking. We have dogs in a fenced in area but they cannot get out. They may acknowledge your presence upon arrival. We do keep them inside and will do our best to keep them in upon your arrival.
