Spectacular contemporary country home with 20 ft ceilings, 50 year old mushroom wood floors, huge windows overlooking the Stony Clove stream and mountains!! With over 1800 square feet and over 1 acre of country bliss, two decks to lounge, read, use your computer, or just listen to the stream. We have wireless internet throughout the house , the deck, and grounds. You can use your Verizon cell phone anywhere on the property Or another cell phone through wifi Magnificent two bedroom, two bath, one Living Room with a stone fireplace and one Great Room with a 55" TV and Bose speakers. This dramatic home was designed as a romantic getaway and to enjoy the beauty of the country in any season. Our home has rare 50-year-old mushroom wood wide board floors throughout. The Large Master Bedroom has a King Bed and The Master bath has 2 copper sinks and vanities plus a shower with 2 shower heads for showering with a friend. There also is a 40" Smart TV with a Roku interface. Our dreamy home has two large living rooms for whatever your mood. one Living Room with a stone fireplace and one Great Room with a 55" TV and Bose speakers. You enter the large Living with pine paneling and a large magnificent working creek stone fireplace to keep you cozy on cool nights and winter days. Our second living area (we call our Great Room) has a wall of windows ten feet high that look onto the stream, the mountains, and the giant 80 foot Hemlocks. the Great Room In the winter, when the Hemlocks are covered with snow, they add to the romance of the winter scenery. The Great Room is complete with a built in 55" inch smart TV plus built in Bose surround sound speakers. The Large Master bedroom has 10 foot windows that overlook the stream and mountains With the windows open you can fall asleep to the sound of stream. The en-suite bathroom has his and hers copper sinks, heat lamps, and a romantic tiled shower built for two. The second bedroom is cozy with a beautiful country bedspread. With two full baths, the house will comfortably accommodate parties of up to 4 guests. Our large country Kitchen has Mexican tiles and sliding doors that open to a deck that overlooks the stream. Since we love to cook, we have tried to equip our kitchen with every amenity for cooking gourmet meals. Perfect for entertaining or just having quiet meals on the deck or in the dining room. Less than 2 1/2 hours from the city. You won't be disappointed. Guests will have access to the entire house and the 2 decks. We like to meet our guests and show them around the house when they arrive. We are in the heart of Catskill State Park. We are surrounded by wonderful hemlocks and streams. There are also tons of wildlife such as deer, bear, and, hawks. Great hikes and walks. Antiquing, yard and garage sales, great restaurants, tubing in the summer and skiing in the winter. There is a bus to Phoenicia, but you will need a car to get around. Hiking, swimming, skiing, tennis, searching for antiques at years sales, garage sales, lawn sales, etc. We also have many wonderful restaurants. Guests will have access to the entire house and the 2 decks. We have a no shoes policy. We have slippers in the entranceway so you can leave your shoes in the vestibule. have a Verizon tower so your Verizon cell phone will work. We also have a land line phone. Guests agree that they shall leave the property as they found it and will be responsible for any damage incurred during the rental time. The owner is not responsible for damage or loss of renters personal items and is not responsible for any injury while on the property. We like to meet our guests and show them around the house when they arrive. We are in he heart of Catskill State Park. We are surrounded by wonderful hemlocks and streams.
